Zac Ross is a litigation and personal injury lawyer. His litigation cases include a
wide variety of complex litigation involving real estate, contracts, land use,
Florida’s Sunshine and Public Records laws, construction, probate, and
business relationships.
Zac’s personal injury practice involves the representation of people who have
been injured in auto accidents and otherwise by the negligence of others (e.g.,
slip and fall). Zac also represents survivors in wrongful death actions. He is
committed to negotiating with insurance companies to get a fair personal
injury claim settlement for his clients.
Zac is fluent in Spanish having lived and studied in Costa Rica between his
undergraduate studies and law school.
Zac is a Sarasota Native Committed to Our Community
Zac was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. He graduated with honors from
Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School in 1998. He then received a scholarship to the
University ofMiami where he was a member of the General Honors program
and graduated cum laude, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
majoring in Finance with a minor in Legal Studies. He continued his education,
graduating cum laude from Florida State University College of Law with a Juris
Doctorate in 2006.
In addition to his service as a Sarasota Personal Injury Lawyer and Litigation
Lawyer, Zac also volunteers with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Suncoast.
His service with community and legal organization in Sarasota demonstrate his
commitment to the law and the local Sarasota community:

Zac began working at Kirk-Pinkerton, P.A., as a summer associate in 2005 and joined the firm as an associate in the Fall of 2006.
Involved in Land Use Issues and Environmental Law
In addition to his legal practice covering disputes in land use and real estate,
Zac has been involved in land use and environmental law since college.
During law school, Zac clerked at Young van Assenderp, P.A., in Tallahassee
and served the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law as Associate Editor
(2004-05) and Editor-in- Chief (2005-06).
Zac was awarded the Donna Christie Service Award for his services to the
Journal.
