Jeffrey M. Guy

Born in New Jersey but raised in Florida, Mr. Jeffrey M. Guy has extensive roots in Sarasota County, having lived here since 1976. He is a 1992 graduate of Riverview High School, and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fairmont State University in West Virginia, where he received an athletic scholarship to attend and play football. After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Guy worked in the health care industry before leaving to start a business in Florida’s growing construction industry. After maintaining that business successfully for a number of years, he returned to school and studied law at Stetson University, College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate with Honors in May of 2011.
While in law school, he completed internships with the Honorable David D. Demers, Pinellas County Circuit Judge, and also the State Attorney General’s Office. He also had the distinction of receiving a book award in Consumer Protection Law, an award given for having the highest score in his class.
He is member of the Sarasota County Bar Association, the Greater Sarasota Sertoma Club of, and Woodland Community Church.
Mr. Guy focuses on all aspects of civil litigation, including representing clients with personal injury claims, business and commercial disputes, construction litigation, and family law.
